What You'll Do
Hospital pharmacy is a dynamic, fast‐paced environment where precision and collaboration are key. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work alongside Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to help maintain smooth pharmacy operations that support multidisciplinary care.
* Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products.
* Manage and monitor imprest stock.
* Conduct regular stocktake.
* Deliver medications to hospital wards.
* Process sales transactions and assist with account queries.
* Ensure patients and nursing staff receive the correct medication.
* Provide support to patients, carers, and hospital staff.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast‐paced, collaborative environment with strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it's not essential as full training will be provided to aid your transition. Previous experience in pharmacy dispensing is required.
Eligibility Requirements
* Permanent Australian working rights.
* Minimum 1 year's dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy.
Desirable Skills & Experience
* Hospital pharmacy experience.
* Certificate III or IV in Community or Hospital Pharmacy (or equivalent).
