**Account Manager - Personal Injury - Victoria - Hybrid Working**

The primary purpose of this role is to manage a large portfolio of clients across Personal Injury products to achieve national retention targets by supporting our intermediary partners and client's Personal Injury objectives.
**It will be your responsibility to**:
- Manage responses to our intermediaries via a dedicated Inbox
- Deliver services in line with the Personal Injury customer value proposition
- Develop additional business from existing portfolio in line with budget targets while managing own income and expense budget
- Act as the main interface between the customer and the organisation in ensure an optimal level of service is provided at all times and continually seek the opportunity to participate in customers strategic business planning processes
- Document and always implement effective account retention and defence strategies for all customers to promote customer retention. Ensure the successful onboarding and transitioning of new clients
- Remain informed and communicate relevant legislative changes and market intelligence with clients and third-party providers
- Effectively utilise and promote usage of reporting tools
**Important to your success**:
- Relevant experience managing customer accounts or responding to inbound enquiries particulary related to policy and premium
- Relevant experience in Personal Injury, Risk management, WH&S, or Personal Injury claims/underwriting
- Good technical knowledge of relevant lines of insurance and all associated legislation
- Adept at proactively building and maintaining professional relationships and networks to enhance industry positioning, exchange knowledge and elicit beneficial outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to read the market and understand customer requirements to identify, pursue and close business development opportunities that contribute to profitability of the organisation
- Demonstrates strong presentation skills that are engaging and impactful
