Who are we looking for? We're looking for a Hydraulic Services Designer to join our Buildings Team in Newcastle, or any other of GHD's Northern NSW offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to and make an impact on local Buildings projects in our region, and to work as part of our global team in a large and well‐established international consultancy, with your role offering great scope for career growth.
Responsibilities
* Deliver major hydraulic services for buildings projects that shape our built environment, including:
o Fire services (hydrants, hose reels and sprinklers)
o Trade and sanitary waste
o Gas supply
o Potable and non‐potable water
o Stormwater drainage and water re‐cycling
o ESD (Hydraulic services)
* Provide clients with technical guidance and strategic advice, while developing and maintaining strong and supportive client relationships.

Qualifications
* A relevant diploma, degree or trade qualification or applicable ongoing studies.
* Five or more years of experience within the hydraulic design industry for building services.
* AutoCAD/Revit/BIM skills are desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders.
* A passion for delivering high‐quality solutions for our clients.
