We are a busy, growing kitchen cabinet and stone benchtop manufacturer based in Victoria, expanding into Queensland. We work closely with builders, renovators, and homeowners to deliver high-quality custom joinery and stone products.
We’re seeking an experienced and reliable Stone Installer to carry out on-site installation of stone benchtops and related products. This hands-on role suits someone who takes pride in precision workmanship, works well with other trades, and represents the business professionally on site.
Primary Purpose
The Stone Installer is responsible for the accurate and safe installation of stone products, including benchtops, panels, and other related fixtures. The role involves coordinating with builders, trades, and clients to ensure installations are completed to specification, on time, and in compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Follow guidance from the Team Leader to complete installation tasks accurately.
* Consult with CSO staff or clients to gain property access.
* Verify site plans, drawings, and measurements before installation.
* Confirm all stone products, panels, and peripheral components are present prior to installation.
* Install stone products as required, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
* Adjust panels, doors, or other fittings as necessary to achieve a precise finish.
* Provide photographic evidence of completed installations.
* Report any issues, defects, or deviations from specifications to the Team Leader.
* Maintain and care for tools and equipment.
* Liaise with builders, other trades, and clients as needed.
* Leave the work site safe, clean, and tidy.
* Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Required Skills & Competencies
* Trade Certificate or relevant qualification in stone fabrication/installation plus experience with installation of stone benchtops mandatory.
* Demonstrated capability in managing the risks of working with stone - from lifting to particle management.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.
* Flexible and adaptable during periods of change.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating approach when liaising with clients or team members.
* Punctual, honest, and reliable.
* Current Australian Driver's license.
