Job Description
We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Nursing interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Port Macquarie, NSW.
In this diverse role, you will enjoy flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, with the support of a strong team of driven healthcare professionals backed by a global corporate infrastructure.
Provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with various conditions, both physical and psychological, and support them in achieving return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.
Your Responsibilities:
* Case management (with manageable caseloads and the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks);
* Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes;
* Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
* Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals;
* Working across various schemes such as workers' compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
* Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
* Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.

Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Nursing;
* Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Nurse;
* Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation would be highly regarded;
* Fabulous communication skills - getting to know clients and stakeholders;
* Compassion and kindness always go a long way, as does empathy;
* Well-developed time management skills are a must;
* A current NSW Driver's Licence and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must.
