The opportunity:
We are seeking a permanent Business Development Manager (BDM) who will hold full accountability for Network Partner (franchisee) engagement, communication & in-store execution across a specified region in SA. This position is the key business partner between TWC Network Partners and our Support Centre, driving the effective implementation of merchandise & customer strategies, health initiatives that bring to life our customer offer whilst driving compliance in-store. The successful candidate will also support network growth and retention in their defined region.
What you will do:
Reporting directly to the State Manager – Operations, you will:
* Inspire, motivate and engage pharmacy teams to help build Australia's Favorite Pharmacy brand
* Build high trust professional relationships with Network Partners and key internal departments - including Merchandise, Marketing, Finance & Partner Support
* Drive individual pharmacy profitability through the execution of the TWC brand platform
* Coach TWC Network Partners and store teams to achieve determined outcomes
* Facilitate business planning sessions and profitability targets
About you:
You will have extensive retail leadership experience and come from a strong operational background, with pharmacy experience advantageous. Additionally, you will have:
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
* Strong financial and analytical skills with a specific understanding of retail levers that drive profitability
* Negotiation and conflict management skills with the ability to analyse problems and develop innovative strategies and solutions
* A high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to build strategic working relationships with a diverse range of people
* An inspired outlook and entrepreneurial spirit
* The ability to influence and negotiate
