Job Title: Lead Mining Specialist
Join our team as a Lead Mining Specialist to oversee the operations of our Underground Technical Services department. This challenging role offers opportunities for growth and exposure to Alternate Underground Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Mentor and lead a team of mining engineers.
* Develop work plans and processes for the mining department.
* Review and approve production drilling and charging plans.
* Conceptualize and implement improvement projects.
* Coordinate stope reconciliation process and manage internal reporting records.
* Collaborate with operations and survey teams to prioritize and execute production activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years UG hard rock mining experience using Deswik CAD and Scheduler packages.
Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and First Class Mine Managers Certificate of Competency.
