Job Overview
Established longline fishing company working the Australian Fishing Zones seeks full‐time positions such as Ships Master, Ships Engineer, Master Fisher, Ships Officer, Deck Hands & Fishing Hands. Employees will be based in Mooloolaba QLD 4557 but may be required to work in other locations subject to operational requirements.
Positions & Responsibilities
* Ships Engineer (Fishing): Requires at least 5 years of relevant experience. Sea‐time of less than 5 years may be considered in line with experience. Must hold the appropriate licence or registration.
* Fishing Hands & Deck Hands: Must have not less than 1 year of Australian work experience, evidenced by sea‐time or log book. Provide verifiable references. Positions involve working on a deck, often in heavy seas and cramped spaces. Ranked positions may include managing fishing operations aboard the vessel in consultation with company owners.
Requirements
* Must provide verifiable references.
* Strong physical fitness and ability to work in heavy seas and cramped spaces.
* Ability to be away from home for several days or weeks, with a short turnaround before returning to sea.

Salary & Benefits
* Ships Master: $120,000.00 or greater, subject to negotiation.
* Ships Engineer (Fishing): $72,000 to $82,000.
* Master Fisher: $75,000 to $82,000.
* Deck Hands & Fishing Hands: $68,800 to in excess of $78,000.
All positions have a government‐regulated superannuation guarantee. Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience.
