C-ITS specialists are responsible for designing and developing intelligent transportation systems that can provide real-time solutions in urban environments. This involves implementing complex technical advice, coordinating cross-functional teams, and liaising with industry stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration.
The key responsibilities of C-ITS specialists include:
* Supporting the development of C-ITS projects by collaborating with project teams and providing technical expertise.
* Implementing systems in real-time environments to enhance efficiency and safety.
* Providing complex technical advice to project teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Coordinating cross-divisional working groups to facilitate collaboration and information sharing.
* Liaising with industry, government, and regulatory bodies to stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends.
* Writing publications and presenting technology in forums to promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, hardware knowledge, data science, database management, and UX design.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or equivalent field.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
* Product/project management knowledge and skills.
* In-depth understanding of Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems/Advanced Driver Assistance Systems/Multimedia.
* Australian driver's licence (full).
