The Role
The primary focus of this role is to help organisations strengthen cyber risk management and resilience, turning risks related to cyber, data and AI into strategic opportunities.
Key areas of focus include:
* Lead projects end to end across data and identity protection, cybersecurity governance, cyber risk management, controls advisory, implementation, and broader cybersecurity program delivery. Additional exposure to Data & AI is highly valued.
* Support and guide organisations as they navigate evolving threats, regulatory change, and the need for stronger cyber strategies, frameworks and incident preparedness.
* Design project plans, guide delivery teams, and oversee the creation of tailored solutions that help clients address emerging risks and achieve their strategic objectives.
* Develop trusted relationships with executives, including CISOs, CIOs and board stakeholders.
* Building and develop high‑performing team, recruiting and mentoring consultants at all levels and fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
* Business development exposure is highly valued.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced Associate Director, Senior Manager, or equivalent, with a cybersecurity advisory background from a Big 4 or specialist consulting firm. Professionals from regulated industries who have previous consulting experience and are keen to return to advisory are highly regarded.
They bring strong cyber expertise, project leadership and communication skills, enabling them to manage complex engagements, assess and interpret risk, and shape strategies that uplift client cyber maturity in a rapidly changing digital environment.
To succeed, they will bring the following:
* Hands‑on experience leading end‑to‑end cyber programs, conducting risk assessments, implementing security controls, developing policies and procedures, benchmarking maturity and designing strategic roadmaps aligned to industry frameworks.
* Confidence in engaging with senior executives and boards, translating technical risk into clear, business‑aligned insights that support informed decision-making.
* Mentoring teams and foster a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
* Agile approach, proactive mindset, combining strategic thinking with technical depth to deliver impactful solutions that strengthen organisational resilience and support transformation.
Additionally, key competencies sought:
* Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity).
* 5+ years in a related field, with recent professional services experience.
* Relevant Professional Certifications and Frameworks such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO / NIST / PCI, CCNA, AIGP, CIPM are viewed favourably.
