The Client:
Leading Technology Solutions provider using the latest big data and machine learning technologies to solve complex cyber security challenges for their valued clients. Due to rapid growth, they are looking to expand into new capabilities to revolutionise their products and services.
The Role:
* The Senior Test Engineer is a key part of the Project delivery team and assists the Test Manager by providing Test leadership for projects being delivered across a diverse range of engineering applications
* Responsible for planning and executing test program associated with assigned projects
* Responsible for planning, resourcing, and documenting.
* Develop a test program to meet the needs of projects, products and prove compliance to specifications.
* Responsible for utilizing tools and equipment involved in performance monitoring.
* Able to prepare reports and analyses setting forth progress and adverse trends.
* Produce and manage Requirement Traceability and Verification Matrix.
* Deploy and maintain multiple Softel project Solutions/Systems.
* Look for opportunities to improve test approaches and leverage automation where possible to increase efficiencies.
* Responsible for communicating with engineers and manufacturer's technical support staff for problem resolution.
This is a Hybrid working environment : 3 days in office / 2 days WFH
Ideally, you will have:
* At least 8+ years of experience in telecommunications, software and/or design, development, and test of complex solutions.
* A solid understanding of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.
* Demonstrated ability to use standard software development, support and office tools.
* Experience in automated testing.
* Ability to determine whether a particular problem is caused by hardware, operating systems software, application programs, or network failures.
* Good knowledge of security and encryption.
* Candidates must have full working rights and be eligible for an AGSVA Security Clearance
