Brigette Ellis Team Manager – Transport Planning (NSW)
AECOM's Transport Planning and Traffic Engineering teams are continuing to grow across both Sydney and Melbourne, with a strong pipeline of major transport infrastructure, precinct development and city‐shaping projects already underway across NSW, Victoria and the broader ANZ region.
From road and motorway upgrades to integrated transport planning, active transport, precincts and complex multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, our teams are helping shape how communities move now and into the future.
As momentum continues to build, we're looking to connect with experienced Principal Traffic & Transport Engineers who enjoy solving complex challenges, leading technical delivery and mentoring the next generation of engineers and planners.
How you'll make a difference
- Solving complex technical challenges on multidisciplinary transport and infrastructure projects
- Coaching and mentoring our talented professionals and graduates
- Working closely with clients to shape solutions and deliver project outcomes
- Managing project delivery to ensure quality, efficiency and robust results
- Planning future pursuits and supporting work winning
- Building and strengthening client relationships
- Continuing to grow technical skills across the transport engineering discipline (e.g. impact assessment, road safety, transport design, operational modelling) and leadership skills
Qualifications
- A degree in Transport or Traffic Engineering (or a related field) and 10+ years of experience in transport and/or traffic engineering.
- Proven leadership in delivering Transport Impact Assessments, and Road Safety Assessments with a solid understanding of the relevant TfNSW guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to develop preliminary transport infrastructure designs (e.g. active travel and intersections) aligned with applicable local and national standards, such as the relevant TfNSW guidelines.
- A strong local industry network and excellent communication skills to win work, and a keen interest in mentoring junior staff.
