About Our Client

The client is a globally recognised, design-led kitchenware brand with a rich heritage in coffee and cookware innovation. They are well-established in major Australian retailers and are now focused on expanding their national footprint through new retail and distribution partnerships.


Job Description

* Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow this heritage brand's footprint in the Australian market by identifying new growth opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and securing partnerships with leading retailers, distributors, and small independents.
* National travel is required to engage with customers and drive business growth by conducting in-field market research across local markets and gaining insights to tailor strategic plans for each territory.
* Drive business development by monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities and reporting on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline development to senior leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a sales strategy to grow the brand's presence in the Australian market.
2. Conduct in-field market research to gain insights and inform strategic plans for each territory.
3. Identify and secure partnerships with leading retailers, distributors, and small independents.
4. Strengthen relationships with existing customers to ensure sustainable growth and brand presence.
5. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
6. Report on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline development to senior leadership.


Requirements

* Proven track record of growing brand presence in the Australian market.
* Willingness to travel nationally to engage with customers and drive business growth.
* Strong relationship-building skills with retailers, distributors, and independents.
* Demonstrated experience prospecting, winning new business, and closing deals.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to develop tailored territory plans based on local market research.
* Results-oriented with a focus on maximising sales performance and brand growth.
* Experience in consumer goods or kitchenware sectors is a plus, but not essential.
* Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and travel nationally to engage with customers and drive business growth.
