These roles suit officers with prior local government experience who are comfortable working independently in the field and engaging with the community. About the role Contract positions across multiple councils Field based, community facing work Immediate and upcoming starts available Key duties Conduct parking and or local laws patrols in line with council policies and legislation Issue infringements and warnings where appropriate Respond to customer enquiries, complaints and incidents professionally Educate the community on parking regulations and local laws Prepare accurate reports, notes and supporting evidence Liaise with internal council teams and external stakeholders To be successful you will have Previous experience as a Parking Officer and or Local Laws Officer within local government Knowledge of relevant legislation and enforcement procedures Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities Clear written and verbal communication skills A current Victorian driver’s licence Desirable Experience working across multiple councils Availability for rostered hours, including weekends Apply now to be considered for current and upcoming contract opportunities.
