Key Network Architect Position
The role of Key Network Architect is a key position within the Systems and Platforms team, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network services infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Participating in section planning for short-term tasks and contributing to strategic planning for long-term initiatives.
* Assisting with the agency's transition to Cloud.
* Developing and supporting key internal and external relationships, including managing stakeholders to achieve work area and agency goals.
* Providing accurate specialist advice, guidance, and reporting on team functional responsibilities.
* Making and communicating decisions using good judgement, expertise, and knowledge.
Requirements:
* Ability to research, analyse, evaluate, and monitor network infrastructure to ensure networks operate at optimal performance.
* Ability to install, configure, test, maintain, and administer new and upgraded networks.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively across a geographically dispersed network.
* Demonstrated personal integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and policy parameters.
* Understanding of maintaining and operating Layer 2 networks such as VLANs, Trunks, and Spanning-Tree.
