For details, visit the OCPE website.Primary ObjectiveManage a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals and specialist teaching staff in wellbeing and inclusion, coordinating services to ensure children and students effectively access the curriculum and maximize educational outcomes.ContextSWIPS provides support to reform inclusion and improve engagement and access to learning, ensuring all children and students are welcomed into inclusive environments and can engage effectively with education.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage service delivery across multiple locations and virtually, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based, child-centered wellbeing and inclusion services.Oversee team performance, resource allocation, performance management, and collaborate on staff recruitment and coaching.Align service delivery with best practices, departmental frameworks, and regional strategies, using a common service model.Develop relationships with school and system leaders to tailor services to community and individual needs.Facilitate learning forums to ensure evidence-informed services and escalate practice issues as needed.Monitor, measure, and report on service delivery in accordance with policies and legislation.Utilize data to inform support needs and drive service improvements.Selection CriteriaEssentialLeadership and management skills for multidisciplinary teams, fostering a positive, collaborative, and resilient workplace culture.Exceptional collaboration and influencing skills to build productive relationships regionally and with stakeholders.Strong customer service ethos and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse cultural groups, including Aboriginal communities and youth.Experience in complex service delivery with data analysis for quality reporting and insights.Initiative to improve services, processes, and programs to enhance educational outcomes.Ability to manage multiple priorities creatively and innovatively.Knowledge of current student wellbeing and inclusion practices nationally and internationally.DesirableRecognized tertiary qualification in Allied Health or Teaching relevant to inclusive education.Further InformationApplicants must hold or be able to obtain a current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
