* A vital member of our team, you will respond to fire and other emergency incidents, promoting community safety and emergency preparedness through education activities. You will develop and maintain competencies by participating in regular drills and training courses, ensuring your effectiveness on the fire ground.
* You will operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment safely and effectively, contribute to upkeep and hygiene of station facilities, and ensure maintenance and repair of operational equipment and station facilities.
We expect all auxiliary firefighters to commit to specific requirements, including attending incident and emergency calls, 75% of regular drill and training sessions, obtaining an MRV licence within 12 months of employment, and participating in ongoing skills acquisition and maintenance programs.
