Senior Registered Nurse
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Registered Nurse with advanced clinical skills to join our team.
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership and clinical proficiency. As a Senior Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for guiding teams and collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
You will perform routine, urgent, and emergency care, triage patients, and provide medical advice within your scope of practice. You will also check blood pressures and weights, perform electrocardiograms (EKGs), draw blood, and collect urine samples.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience working as a registered/licensed nurse and at least three years of experience managing, supervising, and evaluating nursing staff. You must possess a medical license to practice nursing in Australia and have a BA/BS from an accredited institution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Performing professional routine, urgent, and emergency care.
* Triage and providing medical advice to patients within the scope of practice.
* Checking blood pressures and weights, performing electrocardiograms (EKGs), drawing blood, and collecting urine samples.
* Receiving, dispatching, directing, and filing relevant mail and laboratory and x-ray reports.
* Responding during emergency situations.
* Maintaining clinics in a manner suitable for dispensing care.
Requirements:
1. Australian citizenship.
2. Medical license to practice nursing in Australia.
3. BA/BS from an accredited institution.
4. Minimum five years of experience as a registered/licensed nurse.
5. At least three years of experience managing, supervising, and evaluating nursing staff.
6. Ability to direct administrative needs of clinics.
