If so, an exciting opportunity is now available for a Travel Advisor to join our Strategic Procurement and Business Services team at UniSQ.
What you’ll do
As a Travel Advisor, you will play a vital role in supporting UniSQ’s travel operations, providing specialist advice, governance, and coordination to ensure all University travel is safe, efficient, and compliant. In particular, you will:
- Be the central point of contact for travel-related enquiries, working closely with staff, students, and UniSQ’s preferred travel management provider to deliver a high-quality and seamless travel experience.
- Assist with bookings and resolve travel queries promptly.
- Report on travel activity and monitor compliance with University travel policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, value, and sustainability in travel processes.
- Contribute directly to UniSQ’s strategic goals by enhancing procurement maturity, strengthening governance, and ensuring the travel program continues to support the University’s teaching, research, and community engagement activities across Australia and internationally.

You are a detail-oriented professional who enjoys problem-solving and providing excellent customer service. You thrive in a quick-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with diverse stakeholders.
What will help you succeed
Alongside your relevant qualification, you will bring:
- Experience in corporate travel coordination or travel management services.
- Sound understanding of travel policies, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and responsive advice to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Confidence in using travel management systems and analysing data to improve performance and compliance.
- Commitment to delivering efficient, safe, and sustainable travel solutions.
Experience in higher education, government, or large corporate environments will be highly regarded.
