GiGi’s Diner is about to open its doors in the heart of Battery Point, bringing a fresh and modern take on the classic diner experience. We’re all about bold flavours, great coffee, good vibes, and creating a space where locals and visitors alike feel at home.
We’re searching for a creative, passionate, and hands-on Head Chef to lead our kitchen and bring GiGi’s Diner to life. This is your opportunity to shape the menu, build your team, and put your signature on a brand-current venue.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
Creativity and flair – someone who loves reinventing diner classics with a contemporary edge
Strong leadership and people skills – a team builder who leads by example
Solid understanding of kitchen operations, cost control, and rostering
Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
A positive, can-do attitude and the drive to make GiGi’s a must-visit Hobart destination
