Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a team of VFX artists, providing guidance and mentorship to foster their growth and development.
* Collaborate with the Art Director and Game Designers to establish and maintain the visual style of the game.
* Ensure that all VFX align with the overall artistic vision and meet high‐quality standards.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of VFX into the game engine.
* Manage the VFX team production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet project milestones.
* Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate artistic processes.
Qualifications
* Experience leading art teams and projects.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team toward achieving project goals.
* Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines, including design, art, and engineering teams.
* Proficiency with Unreal Engine and 3D software (preferably Maya).
* Expertise in creating VFX in Niagara for Unreal Engine.
* Knowledge of Photoshop and After Effects.
* Capable of conceptualizing and animating a wide range of effects, from highly stylized to natural and fantastical (including tools, weapons, skills, environmental elements, atmospheric effects, creatures, vehicles, UI, and motion graphics).
* Actively participating in the learning process and contributing to the development of in‐house tools.
* Strong observation skills and a keen eye for detail.
* A thorough understanding of VFX pipelines and processes.
* Prior experience with PC or console platforms is highly advantageous.
