Job Summary
To identify and correct malfunctioning aircraft mechanical components and systems is a crucial aspect of this role. Annual and progressive inspections as well as modification work on customer aircraft are also key responsibilities.
A thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components is essential to diagnose and repair malfunctions in various aircraft systems. Complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, and optional equipment installations need to be checked, corrected, or replaced with precision.
This role involves performing modification work on aircraft systems and structures while ensuring accurate and clear written reports in logs, inspection reports, and parts identification for issue and return documents. Functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests, alignment, and preventive maintenance are also required to maintain aircraft in the most airworthy and reliable condition for customers' safety.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various aircraft systems.
* Conduct thorough knowledge of aircraft engines, mechanical systems, and components.
* Check, correct, or replace complex aircraft assemblies, landing gear systems, air conditioner system, pressurization system, and optional equipment installations.
* Repair or replace engine components and accessory items.
* Perform modification work on aircraft systems and structures.
* Ensure accurate and clear written reports in logs, inspection reports, and parts identification for issue and return documents.
* Conduct functional checks, engine test runs, instrument tests, alignment, and preventive maintenance.
Requirements
* Qualifications and Skills:
* Hold a B1.1 CASA license.
* Operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
* Read and write in English.
* Provide outstanding customer service abilities.
* Experience on Business aviation is preferred.
* Citation/Hawker/Beechcraft certifications are preferred.
