Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
* Monitor and manage the organization's financial transactions, including revenue, expenses, and grants.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
* Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
* Ensure compliance with tax laws and other regulatory requirements, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
* Support audit processes and work closely with auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit cycle.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank accounts and resolving discrepancies.
* Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial efficiency.
* Provide financial advice and support to senior management and program directors.
Requirements:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
* CPA or CA qualification.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
