We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Waikiki Primary School (PS), located in a coastal suburb south of Perth, is a government, co-educational public primary school serving students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Role
Waikiki PS is seeking passionate, motivated, and skilled educators to join our teaching team. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to enhancing student learning and social and emotional outcomes through evidence-informed practices. We promote high-impact teaching strategies, ongoing formative assessment, timely feedback, and data-informed planning.
Applicants should be dedicated to fostering positive relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader community, and capable of planning and delivering engaging learning programs aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum and Waikiki PS Instructional Framework. We offer a supportive working environment with opportunities for coaching, classroom observation, and professional learning.
We seek educators who participate in reflective and restorative practices and contribute to school-wide improvement, leadership development, and collaborative teams focused on teaching and learning.
For Early Childhood Education roles, understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards is desirable.
This recruitment pool will be used to fill current and future vacancies for both Primary Teaching and Physical Education Teaching positions at Waikiki PS.

Eligibility
To work with us, you must:
* hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with work rights for the term of the appointment.
* apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start.
* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
