But did you know we have 23 divisions, 135 sites nationally, employ nearly **** people and operate a fleet of over ****!
We do more than collect the bin from your street, we also convert waste into clean energy, divert food waste from landfill and convert to compost, manufacture customised waste management equipment, asbestos removal, refine and recycle oil, manage and maintain our fleet inhouse and have our own bespoke technology systems.
Our teams include Drivers/Operators, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, IT/Digital, Environment, Engineering, Industrial Chemists, Safety, Administration and much more..

ABOUT THIS ROLE
As a
JJ's Business Development Manager,
you will drive new business and grow the presence of JJ's Waste & Recycling in Mt Isa and surrounding region.
Join a long term established business in Mt Isa with a outstanding team that prides itself on delivering outstanding customer service to our large customer base. An opportunity to make a real impact - blending account management, retention, and acquisition to unlock fresh revenue streams.
You'll have the autonomy to manage your own day while being supported by a collaborative, results-driven team that values initiative and performance.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
This position is a permanent, full-time Monday to Friday.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively pursue new business in a structured, focused & considered manner
Developing and nurturing existing customers through systematic cycle visits and interactions
Meeting and exceeding sales targets and KPIs each week
Demonstrating a keen passion to drive the business forward and continuing to grow
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the business
Identify enhancement opportunities and suggest solutions for improvement
Strive for improvement in operations whilst upholding a high level of safety at all times
ABOUT YOU
Driven and ambitious by nature, you love the thrill of winning new business and nurturing customers
You are well-presented and have strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Outgoing by nature, you enjoy meeting people and have a strong focus on customer service
Previous face-to-face selling experience - highly regarded
You are motivated & love to work autonomously and you enjoy being part of a larger team
You have a strong attention to detail; you are thorough and methodical in your approach
You have your own roadworthy vehicle and a valid Australian Drivers Licence
Be dedicated and reliable; we are an essential services industry
