A single campus, co-educational college serves a large residential community in Melbourne's north-western suburbs.
The school operates using a Sub-School model with Junior School years 7 - 8; Middle School years 9 - 10 and Senior School years 11 - 12.
The Select Entry Acceleration (SEAL) Program is offered to students.
A unique Language Immersion program uses the CLIL methodology where students are taught Mathematics, History and Geography in Italian by CLIL trained teachers.
Facilities include a 300 seat Performing Arts Centre with a dance studio, dedicated VCE student study centre, community library and outdoor facilities.
The role of a Classroom Teacher involves assisting the school to improve student performance and educational outcomes.
* Have content knowledge and pedagogical practice to meet the diverse needs of all students.
* Model exemplary classroom practice and mentor/coach other teachers in the school.
* Provide expert advice about content, processes and strategies that will shape individual and school professional learning.
* Supervise and train one or more student teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist staff to use student data to inform teaching approaches that enable targets related to improving student learning outcomes.
Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and priorities.
