About the Role:
This part-time Legal Administrative Assistant role offers the potential to transition into a full-time position and is based in our Maroochydore office. We are seeking an experienced professional with exceptional administrative skills to support the efficient operation of the office.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality administrative support by adapting to tasks requested from senior staff.
* Perform word processing duties, including preparing letters and documents such as court documents.
* Communicate effectively with government departments, including the Australian Taxation Office, Centrelink, Medicare, and Work Cover.
* Manage photocopying, mail preparation, and courier arrangements.
* Compile briefs for counsel and other experts.
* Ensure accurate archiving of completed cases.
* Digitally transcribe dictations.
* Prepare electronic briefs for counsel.
* Implement effective file management, including filing systems.
* Provide reception services, including answering incoming calls.
* Schedule appointments with clients, doctors, and coordinate conferences with counsel.
