Project Financial Specialist
This is a key business partner position that will provide high-quality project support to Project Managers, focusing on improving project management and financial tracking.
* Supports Project Managers with monitoring of actuals and accurate forecasting to ensure correct revenue positioning.
* Reviews forecasted cost at completion and variance to baseline cost for a portfolio of projects, discussing material changes with Project Managers and escalating to the Commercial team as needed.
* Participates in project-related meetings around the status of project financials, articulating risks and opportunities.
* Drives tactical responses to minimize working capital requirements.
* Provides project accounting support to operations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Advises on project setup process, including best practices for WBS, contract line configuration, and variation management.
* Drives efficiency and process improvement through effective utilization of systems.
* Manages client billing.
