As a Logistics and Supply Chain Graduate you will be a key participant in ensuring the proficient control of distributed goods, including import and export of the product. The role requires thorough knowledge of inventory control processes and keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities
* Receive and action general enquiries by phone and email.
* Coordinate the procurement function for a designated range of products.
* Assist in allocating inventory to sales orders and advise of delays.
* Assist in creation of purchased Part ID's and cycle codes as required.
* Perform back‑end processing of purchase orders and invoices.
* Assist in the procurement pricing function for products.
* Maintain inventory integrity through data maintenance.
* Assist with inventory analysis to determine optimum stock holdings and ordering requirements.
* Investigate inventory issues with analysis and provide solutions back to internal stakeholders.
* Provide support with stocktaking processes, problem‑solving, and variance tracking.
* Maintain supplier database: purchase price, standard cost, lead times, MOQ's, UOM, mins and maxes.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in logistics and supply chain management or related field.
* Knowledge of Australian import and export processes and guidelines.
* Basic knowledge of Stoddart distributed goods product lines.
* Knowledge of the procurement function.
* Skilled in the accurate transfer of critical data.
* Intermediate level of computer and technical skills incl. Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
* Ability to demonstrate enhanced verbal and written communication skills incorporating Microsoft Office.
* Ability to develop knowledge of key product lines and product more broadly over time.
