Rugby Transport is a medium sized Transport company specialising in refrigerated road transport. We currently have a vacancy for a full time Workshop Manager to oversee the workshop team and maintain our fleet of prime movers and refrigerated vans. The successful applicant will enjoy a modern well equipped workshop facility and will have capacity to cover outside business hours breakdown and maintenance when required.
To be successful in this role, candidates will ideally possess the following:
* Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification.
* Strong fault finding and repair skills.
* Demonstrated experience managing a high performing team.
* Solid knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety obligations and procedures.
* Excellent ability to prioritise work.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Current Manual Drivers license essential.
* HC/MC license an advantage.
* Flexibility to be available to take breakdown calls and organise work when necessary.
