Your responsibilities will include:
Sikorsky Australia has been awarded the Through Life Support contract for the Royal Australian Navy's recent acquisition of MH-60R (Romeo) maritime helicopters. The MH-60R represents the next generation tactical maritime helicopter for the Royal Australian Navy.
Located on the beautiful South Coast. we are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our rapidly growing Nowra team to undertake maintenance on the MH-60R fleet. You will be a safety focused tradesperson who enjoys the challenge of delivering a quality focused technically advanced platform, one time, on time, every time.
About you:
As an AME level 3, qualifications in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering are essential with exposure to the Sikorsky product family desirable but not essential.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
* Hold a Cert IV in Aeroskills -B1.3 with Structures experience (highly desirable)
* Ability to hold an Australian Defence security clearance at a Negative Vetting One level
Highly desirable previous experience includes
* Experience on Rotary Wing Aircraft.
* Depot Level Repairs to Primary Structure
* Replacement of Primary Structural Fittings
* Composite Panel Repairs
* Manufacture of Aircraft Components
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
