Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a skilled professional to support its Credit Risk Transformation program. This initiative aims to develop a new system for managing core Credit Risk activities, including rating and reviewing counterparties, managing limits, position monitoring, and portfolio monitoring.
About the Role
This role will involve working in a fast-paced, agile environment to build out API-first services with a focus on scale, security, and robustness. You will also design and implement modern data pipelines, high-quality products, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform design and toolchain.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop scalable, secure, and robust APIs and data pipelines
* Implement high-quality products that meet world-class user experience and development standards
* Contribute to the evolution of our platform design and toolchain
* Maintain and enhance existing code bases
* Build automated testing as part of end-to-end delivery
What We're Looking For
* Experience in Credit Risk technology domains, including limits, exposure, reviews, or similar
* Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders
* Full-stack development experience (front-end and back-end)
* System design and architecture experience, including data pipelines, microservices, event-driven architectures
* Experience with UI technologies, such as React, Redux, Jest, Single-Spa, Micro-frontend
* Backend technologies, including Java, Python, Junit, PyTest, SpringBoot
* Data engineering aspects, tools, and platforms, including data pipelines, data workflows, data and load assurance, data reconciliation Spark, Presto, Airflow
* ORMs and Databases, including Hibernate, SQLAlchemy, Postgres, SQL server
* Cloud technologies, including AWS and cloud-native apps
* DevOps technologies, including CI-CD, CloudFormation, Maven, PIP, Docker, Containerisation
* Scripting languages, including Groovy, Python, Shell
* Agile-based project delivery experience
