About the Role We are seeking a technically astute and delivery-focused Product Owner to join our agile teams. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in SAFe environments and are passionate about delivering high-quality technical solutions. You will own the team backlog, shape the product’s technical direction, and ensure alignment between business goals and system capabilities. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the team backlog, prioritising features, enablers, and technical debt Represent the team during PI Planning and collaborate with Product Management Write clear user stories and enabler stories with robust acceptance criteria Review completed stories for technical and functional completeness Collaborate with architects, developers, and designers to guide solution design Translate complex technical concepts into business value Advocate for platform improvements and technical debt resolution Required Experience Proven experience in backlog management and prioritisation Strong understanding of SAFe and SCRUM ceremonies and artefacts Skilled in writing technical stories that support scalability and architectural runway Accountable for story acceptance and alignment with technical standards Solid grasp of system components, APIs, integrations, and data structures Ability to assess technical feasibility and sustainability of features Experience articulating technical debt value to non-technical stakeholders Preferred Experience/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Agile certifications such as SAFe POPM, CSPO, or equivalent Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Decisiveness and problem-solving mindset in navigating technical challenges Accenture | Let there be change Across industries and around the world, we’re creating better experiences for people using emerging technologies and human ingenuity.
