Our Rail Division, previously known as Great Southern Rail ("GSR") operates Australia's iconic rail journeys, The Ghan, Indian Pacific, The Overland and Great Southern.

About The Role
Mechanical fitting, maintenance, and breakdown work
Fabrication, welding, and repair of structural and mechanical components
Workshop and/or site-based work
Ensure active involvement in Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing and 5S activities
Requirements
About You
Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter and Boilermaker
Strong mechanical fault-finding and welding skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Safety-focused with a strong work ethic
Tickets & Licences (desirable):
High Risk Work Licence (LF, WP, etc.)
