About Us – Have a Heart for Change!
At Heart Foundation, we believe everyone deserves a healthy heart. Heart disease is one of the nation's leading causes of death, and since 1959 we've led the fight through research, support, and prevention. Be part of our mission to make heart health achievable by everyone in Australia by 2050.
How You Can Make a Difference
We're looking for a Supporter Relations Coordinator to join our close‐knit Supporter Relations team. This is a phone‐based, donor‐facing role that sits at the heart of our fundraising operations and supporter experience.
You will be the first point of contact for many of our supporters — processing donations, answering enquiries, resolving issues, and helping build strong, long‐term relationships. It's a role that suits someone who is confident on the phone, enjoys variety, and can balance independent work with strong team communication.
You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and our Subiaco office.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing high‐quality customer service to supporters via phone and email (inbound and outbound)
* Processing donations across cash, cheque and digital channels, including banking and receipting
* Managing regular giving processing
* Logging interactions accurately and maintaining clean, reliable supporter data
* Handling complaints, banking disputes and occasionally challenging conversations with care and professionalism
* Supporting supporter retention and relationship‐building activities
* Working closely with Finance, Revenue and wider internal teams to resolve queries and improve processes
* Running reports, queries and data uploads as required
* Maintain CRM data (Raiser's Edge) and support donation processing systems
* Contribute to automation, new tools (e.g. email management systems), and process improvements
* Support change initiatives, including the introduction of AI within supporter relations
* Contributing to teamwork beyond core duties — tasks are shared and shift as priorities change
What You'll Bring
* Background in supporter relations, fundraising, customer service and/or call centre environments
* Experience working with donors or customers over the phone
* Donation processing or high‐volume transactional experience (ideal)
* CRM experience — Raiser's Edge or similar
* Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
* Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to change
