The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently delivering parcels and goods to customers within the local Darwin area. This is a critical role that contributes significantly to the success of our business operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safely operating a vehicle, following pre-determined routes, and interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
In addition, the successful candidate must ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all deliveries while adhering to relevant road rules and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Safe Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a delivery van to transport and deliver parcels and goods to customers.
* Route Management: Follow pre-determined delivery routes and schedules to ensure all items are delivered on time.
* Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
* Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all deliveries.
* Safety Compliance: Comply with all relevant road rules and safety regulations.
Requirements:
* A current Australian driver's C class license with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
* Attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation.
* A reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work.
