We currently have an exciting opportunity for an R&D Associate Scientist. This role involves developing new products and optimizing existing products in terms of performance, quality, and cost—aligned with business objectives and timelines. You will support the Product Development team during the development of new products.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage assigned projects from initial idea to implementation, working with multi-disciplinary teams and adhering to project timelines.
* Support Product Development team members with technical documentation, artwork, and trial support.
* Collaborate with the R&D Cross-Functional team on consumer research, analytical support, seasoning development, and packaging development.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal customers—Marketing, Commercialisation, and Supply Chain/Operations.
* Maintain specifications for raw materials, products, and processes for assigned brands or manufacturing platforms.
* Manage shelf-life trials within the business.
* Promote and develop the health, safety, and welfare of our people.
Qualifications
About you:
* Degree in Food Science (Sc) or similar
* 1–2 years’ experience in an R&D environment within the Food Industry
* Strong technical, analytical, communication, and project management skills
* Computer literate, innovative, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and numerate
