Department Manager Opportunities – The Good Grocer IGA Supermarkets
We are looking for experienced Department Managers to join our Good Grocer store leadership teams.
As a Department Manager you will be responsible for the successful operation of a department within the store, leading your team to deliver an exceptional fresh food offering to our customers.
These are permanent, full‑time salaried positions with an incentive scheme.

Key Responsibilities
* Full responsibility for the successful operation of a department within the store
* Lead and develop your team
* Work closely with the local community to meet and exceed their food expectations with an 'of course' attitude
* Ensure customers receive an exceptional shopping experience
* Ensure adherence to all safety standards and requirements across the store
Skills Required
* Experience leading and developing a team
* Exceptional customer service experience and merchandising ability
* Ability to manage and lead the team, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* IT knowledge – Microsoft, Smart Retail, ABCIS
