About the Role
The Senior Community Legal Educator Coordinator leads the design delivery and evaluation of Community Legal Education (CLE) across the Northern Territory.
With a focus on the Night Patrol CLE program you'll ensure education is accessible culturally responsive and outcome driven.
This is a leadership role where you'll guide a skilled team build strong relationships with communities and help shape best practice CLE delivery in both urban and remote settings.
What Youll Be Doing
Develop and implement NAAJAs CLE plan in line with strategic goals and funding agreements
Lead and support a team delivering innovative community-based legal education
Build connections with communities and Law and Justice groups tailoring CLE to local needs
Oversee CLE publications workshops and digital resources
Ensure quality control reporting compliance and best practice delivery
Represent NAAJA in external forums and champion the role of CLE in justice reform
What Youll Bring
Diploma / degree in law or equivalent experience in the justice system
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proven experience in community engagement and cross-cultural communication
High-level knowledge of NT civil and criminal justice systems
Understanding of best practice CLE delivery in the NT context
Commitment to NAAJAs cultural competency framework
Willingness to travel including to remote communities
NT Ochre Card (or ability to obtain) criminal history clearance and NT drivers licence
