We pride ourselves on authentic flavors with a modern twist.We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our dynamic team on a permanent, full-time basis.Salary: $73,150-$75,000 per year, plus statutory superannuation.ResponsibilitiesReporting to and assisting the Head Chef with menu design, food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation of Chinese dishes, as well as managing stock and supplies.Main Duties:Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen preparation and operationsPrepare and cook food according to restaurant standardsEnsure all dishes meet quality and quantity requirementsMaintain presentation standards by dressing dishes before servingCollaborate with the Head Chef to plan and design menusMonitor and estimate food and labor costsOrder and oversee stock levelsAdhere to Food Safety and OHS standardsDemonstrate cooking techniques and train junior staffProvide hygiene and safety training to kitchen and front-of-house staffQualificationsCert IV in Commercial CookeryStrong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operationsAbility to work under pressure with HACCP knowledgeExcellent organizational and communication skillsTeam-oriented, positive attitude, professional appearanceCreative, passionate about food, committed to high standardsExperienceMinimum 2 years in a busy kitchen environmentThe successful candidate must be available to work a rotating six-day roster, including weekends, public holidays, and evening shifts.To apply, please send a detailed cover letter and resume explaining your suitability for the role.
