Data Insights Manager
We are seeking a skilled Data Insights Manager to lead our Retail Analytics function in providing data-informed business decisions, supporting the development and delivery of strategic objectives while optimising day-to-day operations.
About the Opportunity
As a Data Insights Manager, you will design, structure and maintain key data and analytics assets as well as leading data-driven initiatives for the Retail Business Unit. The role is critical in ensuring both support office and Post Office front of house teams can access key data required for superior customer outcomes and efficient store management.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Analyse data and reports with a strong performance and commercial focus, working closely with Post Office stakeholders to interpret outcomes and drive data-informed decisions.
* Develop and implement data strategies to ensure data integrity, uphold quality standards, and deliver actionable insights.
* Design and establish data collection systems and strategies to enhance statistical efficiency and improve overall data quality.
* Work closely with Senior Leadership Team and key stakeholders to prioritise business and information needs.
About You
We are looking for a skilled data professional with expertise in data governance and data-driven storytelling. You excel at translating complex business needs into insightful questions and objectives, applying context to deliver meaningful outcomes. You will have success in transitioning manual processes into automated solutions, driving efficiency and innovation.
Requirements and Qualifications
* 10 years + experience in data and analytics in a large and complex organisation, including leading Analytics functions.
* Ability to prepare and present comprehensive briefs, reports and initiatives to senior and executive management, and to staff at all levels.
* Experience building reporting data solutions.
* Experience with advanced database querying (SQL) and automation approaches.
* Report visualisation across Tableau, Power BI and other similar software.
