About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Subcontracts Specialist to lead the full subcontracts lifecycle, including pre-award negotiations, contract administration and the close-out of complex subcontract packages. The successful candidate will manage regulatory and compliance requirements, ensuring all subcontract activities meet Rheinmetall's commercial and legal standards. This role requires strong relationship management skills, fostering effective engagement with suppliers and seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders. You will also drive process improvement initiatives and deliver accurate, insightful reporting to support operational excellence across the subcontracting function.

The experience and skillset best suited to this role includes:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field;
* Proven experience in subcontract management, procurement or related field;
* Strong understanding of contract negotiation, pricing strategies and risk management;
* Knowledge of government and commercial contracting regulations (e.g. FAR, FRARS);
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; and
* Eligibility to obtain an Australian Government Security Clearance (Australian Citizenship required).
