The RoleAn opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and dedicated Production Operator to join our close knit Adbri Masonry team in Nowra.This role plays a key part in producing high-quality masonry products and contributing to our ongoing success as a market leader in the industry.We offer successful candidates comprehensive masonry product training, tailored to connect your current skills and knowledge to our industry.
Additionally, we are committed to investing in your development, with opportunities to broaden your experience for those who show the ambition and drive to grow alongside us.This full-time, permanent position works a 4-day working week from Monday to Thursday between the hours of 6am to 6pm.
There is also the possibility of overtime.ResponsibilitiesEnsure safety, health and setting standards are maintainedFollow correct work procedures at all timesOperation of forklifts for the movement of goods to/from the work areaQuality Assurance and packaging of outgoing goodsEnsure yard and inventory is maintained in a neat and orderly fashionFollowing established procedures for documenting and/or reporting work performed, hazards and incidentsSupport the production team including general labouring duties and basic machine operationBasic maintenance of forklifts, plant and equipment in the work areaGeneral housekeeping and cleaningWhat you will need to succeedExhibit a strong commitment to safety, environment, quality, health and wellbeingPossess a proactive and positive attitudeSelf-motivation and a willingness to learnAbility to communicate confidently and work in a teamMechanical aptitude (highly regarded)Ability and desire to multiskill and perform various production role tasksForklift High Risk License (highly regarded)Our BusinessAdbri Masonry is Australia's leading concrete products manufacturer supplying quality concrete bricks, blocks, pavers, retaining walls, erosion control products and architectural masonry solutions.
