Senior Executive Support Professional
This is a high-impact role within NSW Health Pathology where your exceptional organisational skills and initiative will be essential in supporting the day-to-day operations of senior leaders.
You will play a key role in managing complex diaries, coordinating travel and events, preparing executive correspondence and briefings, and supporting strategic initiatives—ensuring everything runs smoothly and professionally, even in the busiest of times.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and contribute to the success of a vital public health service. You will be trusted to manage competing priorities, handle confidential matters with discretion, and act as a reliable point of contact across internal and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide highly organised and efficient executive administrative support including diary management at an executive level and the provision of secretariat support for meetings.
* Advanced proficiency in using PC based software at an advanced level including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook), SharePoint and network operations.
* High level communication skills, including sound interpersonal and negotiation skills, the ability to liaise with staff and health professionals at all levels and work cohesively within teams.
* Proven ability to work independently, exercise initiative and sound judgement and prioritise workload to respond and adapt to changing priorities and demands in a multidisciplinary work environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Extensive experience in providing highly organised and efficient executive administrative support.
* Sound understanding of the demands and environment of the health system, including the need for confidentiality and discretion in issues management.
* High level ability to develop, implement and/or enhance office administrative systems and processes.
