You will join a well-established civil design team delivering residential subdivision projects across South-East Queensland. In this senior position, you will take ownership of technical investigations, civil designs, reports, and construction documentation, contributing to high-quality, fit-for-purpose outcomes.
Working closely with design leaders and multidisciplinary team members, you will support project planning, resource allocation, and program forecasting. You will operate with a high level of autonomy while receiving guidance on complex or unusual design elements.
This role offers the opportunity to influence best practice, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in continuous technical improvement across the business in a full-time, salaried position based in South-East Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare civil designs, drawings, reports, and technical documentation
• Undertake due diligence investigations, concepts, and cost estimates
• Contribute to development application reports and approvals processes
• Provide design briefings to drafters and review design outputs
• Complete independent design checks and quantity take-offs
• Prepare construction and development cost estimates
• Mentor and support junior engineers and drafters

• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and standards
• Capability to work with minimal supervision on complex projects
• Effective communicator with clients and internal stakeholders
