Collaborating with global partners, it addresses challenges, enhances trade and investment opportunities, upholds international rules, fosters regional stability, and supports Australians abroad.THE ROLE – APPLICATIONS CLOSE ON THE 10TH OF MAYOur client requires a specialist to design, develop, and deliver security training services to support their ongoing commitment to safeguarding personnel, information, and assets both domestically and internationally.The Security Division within our client’s organisation provides security advice and support across domestic offices and overseas diplomatic and consular posts. Protecting Australian Government personnel, dependents, and sensitive information is a core priority, especially in an environment of increasing security risks.KEY DUTIESDelivering presentations and facilitating security training to internal staff and external agencies.Designing innovative, relevant, diversity-enabled, and culturally sensitive learning solutions tailored to officers' needs.Developing training support materials and instructional content for face-to-face, virtual, eLearning, and blended environments.Reviewing and updating training curricula to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.Developing training strategies, outcome briefs, and high-level briefing materials.Identifying capability gaps and recommending strategies for improvement.Managing scheduling and enrolment for security courses.Applying and educating others on security policies and procedures.Updating training content to address emerging risks and reflect current security frameworks.Collaborating with stakeholders to improve training programs.Managing administrative tasks related to training delivery and attendance tracking.Supporting the development of the Security Officer Development Program.Delivering solutions to build and future-proof security capability.Preparing briefing and policy materials for decision-making.Undertaking additional duties as directed by the Director or Assistant Director.SKILLS & EXPERIENCEQualifications and/or experience in training and assessment.Experience in protective security is highly desirable.Knowledge of overseas security environments is advantageous.Note: This is a security designated position; the successful candidate must hold a current Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance prior to commencement.Location: Barton, ACT 2600Contract Duration: June 2025 – May 2026 (possible 12-month extension)Hours: 37.5 hours/weekSecurity Clearance: Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 1WHY CS EXECUTIVE GROUP?Since 1988, CS Executive Group has been a trusted partner for federal and state government agencies, providing top-tier candidates.
