About the role

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead the development and execution of Coast Entertainment Holdings’ marketing strategy, driving guest attendance, growing market share, and strengthening brand equity across Dreamworld, WhiteWater World, and SkyPoint.

As a key member of the ELT, the CMO provides strategic leadership to position the business as Australia’s most loved theme parks and attractions, delivering measurable commercial outcomes in line with corporate objectives.

The CMO will partner with the CEO and provide regular updates to the Board on marketing strategy and performance.

This position requires a commercially-focused marketing executive who can balance brand-building with retail-driven strategies, ensuring a strong focus on achieving tangible commercial results.

The successful candidate will thrive in a hands-on, nimble team environment, contributing across all aspects of the business.


The Person

The ideal candidate is a commercially astute and strategic marketing leader with at least 10 years of senior experience, including a minimum of five years at CMO or equivalent level. They have a proven history of delivering measurable revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening brand equity, ideally within tourism, hospitality, entertainment, or leisure sectors.

They possess deep expertise in marketing automation, analytics and emerging technologies that enhance customer engagement, and have successfully led major rebrands, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution to create tangible market impact.

A natural team builder, they foster high-performing, accountable, and excellence-driven cultures while demonstrating exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Experience engaging boards, executives, and media, alongside managing public relations, is essential.

Familiarity with theme parks, attractions, licensed IP, and international marketing is desirable.

Above all, this candidate is a dynamic, results-driven leader who masterfully blends brand elevation with commercial impact.
