Role Overview
Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. This opportunity is to support our Martindale house in Wallsend, providing in‐home and community support to engage clients and help them build independence through working towards individual goals.
Responsibilities
- Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines.
- Encouraging skill‐building, independence, and decision‐making.
- Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans and in your own vehicle).
- Following person‐centred plans with empathy and professionalism.
- Building positive relationships with our clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- A can‐do attitude and growth mindset — you're open to learning and ready to make a difference.
- Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your passion & enthusiasm is key.
- NSW Driver's Licence (P2 or above).
- Physical capability to support clients with mobility or transfers.
- Availability across a variety of shift times, including early mornings (6am‐9am), day shifts (9am‐3/4pm), afternoons & evenings, and awake overnights (10pm‐6am).
Preference will be allocated to those with early morning availability as well as those that can work active awake overnight shifts.

Important Information
