About the Role: We are looking for an ambitious, Registered Project Architect or Senior Project Architect who is looking to step up and take ownership for delivering challenging and interesting projects across a range of sectors including Commercial, Education, and Healthcare, as well as working across Interior Design projects and refurbs. It is essential that you have both strong design and delivery skills and the ability to take a project from end to end, including managing teams, clients, and consultants. Your people skills and teamwork approach are as important to us as your design and technical skills, and we are seeking people who are passionate about design and driven to produce superior design outcomes. You will need to have a solid understanding of Revit and be able to produce and assist with thorough and considered documentation packages. Our Brisbane studio is in the creative heart of Brisbane, just off James Street in Fortitude Valley. With close access to trains and buses as well as an onsite shower, you can also ride, run or skate to work with ease. The team in Brisbane are a fun-loving, tight-knit group, and you would be welcomed warmly into the fold. General Duties: Play an active role in the delivery and management of projects from all stages; concept design to contract administration Manage the day-to-day operations of projects, updating Partners when necessary Ability to create and review drawings in Revit; including checking and marking up drawings and reviewing team members' drawings and documenting projects if needed Leading and working in cohesive teams Liaise with clients, consultants, and other external stakeholders Contributing to the ongoing development and mentoring of other staff members About you: We are seeking an enthusiastic and open-minded Architect who is interested in working on projects across various disciplines and is eager to grow alongside our Lead Partner. You need to be a generalist, both in ability and mindset, with the flexibility to work across both Architecture and Interior Design projects during a growth period for this Studio. You need to be able to apply your strong design, design development and construction knowledge into something that is inspiring yet functional. To be successful in this role you will need: Demonstrated high level of expertise in Revit At least 7 years’ Architectural Experience (must also be registered) Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering designs from briefing to project handover Demonstrated experience in working with Project Managers and Consultants as part of a larger design team Excellent communication skills Extensive experience in design development and construction detailing in Healthcare, Commercial or Education sectors will be highly regarded Capacity to work as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously as required Rendering and visualisation skills will also be highly regarded What is on Offer?
