As an Education Support Trainee, you will assist teaching staff, participate in learning activities, and provide individual support to students. You will be part of a nurturing school community where you can learn, grow, and develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teaching staff by performing non-teaching duties and assisting with tasks such as preparing learning areas and resources.
* Participate in learning activities, including group work and one-on-one support for students.
* Develop strong relationships with students, teachers, and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and other school staff.
* Patient and compassionate approach, with a focus on providing individualized support to students.
* Ability to follow instructions and accept direction and supervision from teaching staff.
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport (desirable).
* Willingsness to obtain a Police Check and/or Working with Children Check prior to commencement.
